Very good food and quick. We have to eat gluten free so we had a sandwich(without bread) on top of a bed of french fries. It was very good and filling. Spudnik supreme was sooo good! Got extra gravy because I love gravy and it was amazing! Never had anything like it. Really great amount of food too! Fed two people on the one dish and had some leftovers! Excellent food, friendly people, and you can watch the derby fish coming in from the charters. Winning fish came in while we were in Valdez, 374lb halibut!!! Go chat with the people at the Potato and ask them about McCarthy, and then take their advice. The breakfast is good here all day, everyday while they are open over the summer months. If you are ever in McCarthy, AK, check out the original Potato Head too for an even groovier experience. Breakfast burrito was great! Staff/owner was friendly and willing to chat about the area. Great place to hang out!
