Reviews showed this restaurant received 4 stars, so I thought I would give it a try. The shrimp cocktail came out warm, which was unexpected, since its normally a cold appetizer. The Cesar salad only comes in one size, and not a side salad, but the dressing was mayonnaise based, and that's it. It was not Cesar dressing, instead it was thinned out mayonnaise. We ordered the special, the Alaskan Goldmine. This dish consisted of scallops, shrimp, halibut, and salmon in a white wine sauce. There were 2 scallops, that were rubbery, and the dish was very fishy tasting all swimming in a pool of garlic and white wine sauce. The fish taste was very overpowering and everything tasted the same. The bus boy collected our plates as we were eating, reaching over the table to collect these plates. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant. For the menu price, I would expect better food and better service. I am not a food snob. Long wait for a table to be "set up" for our big group of 2 with multiple tables within view that were ready to go. Long wait to order. With the look on the servers face it seems they forgot about us. Long wait for refills. I think I was even lucky to score one and get this: after 35 minutes, still no food, was asked if I wanted a refresher. Never saw my glass again until at 1h15m when the food came and I asked where my drink went? My beautiful aunt had her pasta substituted with no heads up to this predicament. The piccata I ordered was the worse I have ever had. How do you mess up 3 ingredients?? No bright/acidic flavor what so ever. Chicken was not pounded flat. Capers not rinsed. Fettuccine was a reheat. The dual color/texture showed where the noodle was dehydrating from sitting out. I understand the logistics are a nightmare but for the price of our meal. No soup or salad? Oh yeah, bread came but had a stale taste Service was a little slow, but food was great. Relaxing atmosphere whether your sitting inside or outside. The grilled chicken salad was amazing. The pizza was good too. Very good great staff and good food I won't go back. Prices were "shocking". My shrimp were overcooked, my wife's salmon was so, so. Outside, it appears a local bar/restaurant, inside, it appears an upscale Italian restaurant run by Asians.
