It was probably the staff at this campground that made me feel that Valdez was one of the best places we went on our three week vacation. The girl who was working at the desk was extremely helpful even giving us a map of Valdez and circling the great places to go. Her information made Valdez a place we would like to return. The bathrooms were very clean and the tent sight we had was fine. Great place!!! Very friendly and resourceful staff, wonderdul service.Good size parking space. New looking, clean picnic tables. Prompt Help with parking your rv or trailer. Activities at fire pit, popcorn at the office, clean laundry room. Didn't use showers and restrooms, so can't say much. We will definitely come only here if we are in Valdez. Had a great experience. Beautiful views and the staff was wonderful. You can see them working all day on projects and it shows. The park is very clean and we'll maintained. Eagle feeding at 5 pm is a once in a lifetime experience When you come to the May Day fly in, one should consider going to this location. Staying at the airport is loud and generators keep running..here...wow! worth every penny. The host and owners do have 30 plus eagles stopping by to say hi. Other guests are soo nice! Everything is clean! They do repairs quickly. They waive hi and make sure you are doing well. Then hanging out at the group camp fire is so much fun as you meet people fdom all over. Best part, I lost my kitty and they asked the staff and kept driving around in the golf cart looking....then 2 days later they helped us find her!! What a blessing. I stay a lot of camp places and this is on my top 2 list forever! Has everything you will need. Very friendly and helpful employees.
