Great campground and not a parking lot. Owner staff is very friendly and they have a little general store on site in the office. Laundry, showers and restrooms are available in the bathhouse, laundry $2, showers are included. 90 camp sites with 5 cabins, most dry spots have tree coverage. All sites have a fire pit and bench/table. 5 minutes outside of down town Valdez. We loved the remoteness of the camp compared to what was available in town. Great views of the surrounding mountains! Very reasonable rates. Includes use of shower house, washers and dryer's available, Wi-Fi, power and water. The owners are very friendly I can't say enough about this KOA camp!! Probably the best site in valdez. Everything else in town seemed to be gravel parking lots. Nice and big with pull thrus, a great shop and very friendly owners. Recently changed to koa and the name is wrong in the guide. Don't follow the gps. This rv park is right on the highway and says koa. Hot and clean showers, reasonable rates. Stayed there for three months without any issues. Called a day before arriving to cancel, charged my CC $ 100.00. sorry way to do people. But that's KOA for you.
